In 2020, Reliance Foundation launched the ‘Reliance Foundation Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science’ to achieve a deeper impact in frontier science and engineering fields that are playing a vital role in shaping India’s future.
In 2022, Reliance Foundation once again extended its commitment to the youth of India and pledged to support another 50,000 students with scholarships over the next 10 years, with the primary objective of nurturing talented youth across the country who have the potential to drive the country’s future success for social good. From 2022-2023, Reliance Foundation is supporting 5,100 students annually, including 5,000 bright undergraduate students from underprivileged sections of society studying any stream of their choice through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarship and 100 of India’s most talented postgraduate students studying qualified subjects in new technologies through the Reliance Foundation Postgraduate Scholarship. The primary objective of both Reliance Foundation Scholarships is to nurture and empower bright students and will work together to build a strong, vibrant and active alumni network, enabling scholars to pursue higher education, emerge as young professionals and drive India’s growth.

Reliance Foundation Scholarships Features 2024

Reliance Foundation Scholarships Eligibility 2024
Applicants must:
- Be a permanent resident of India.
- Passed class 12 with minimum 60% marks and is pursuing a regular full-time undergraduate degree program in India.
- Do not have household income more than ₹15 lakh per annum (income less than ₹2.5 lakh is preferred).
- Answer the qualifying exam.
The following students are not eligible:
- Students who are in the second year or above (who have started their course in the academic year 2023-24 or before).
- Students who are pursuing their degree through online, hybrid, remote, distance or any other non-regular mode.
- Students who have passed their diploma after class 10.
- Students who are pursuing a 2-year bachelor’s degree.
- Students who do not complete the qualifying exam or are found cheating during the exam.
