Assam TET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2025
To know the criteria of Teacher Eligibility Test, read the below steps carefully.
- Individual candidate should not have any criminal record against himself.
- Minimum age should be 18 years and maximum age should be 43 years.
- Must have passed BA, BSc or BCom with minimum 50% marks.
- Must have minimum eligibility percentage of 50% in B.Ed or B.T in Hindi, Arabic, Sanskrit, Urdu, Assamese, Nepali, Manipuri and Persian.
- PWD candidates are given 10 years age relaxation, however SC/ST category candidates are given 5 years age relaxation and OBC category candidates are given 3 years age relaxation.
Candidates belonging to categories other than general will get age relaxation and they will need lesser passing percentage in graduation than general category candidate.
