On 15th August our country got freedom from British colonial rule and the first Prime Minister of our country Jawaharlal Nehru hoisted the Indian Flag at the Red Fort. Where cultural programs are held in schools and patriotic songs are sung, college students fill the hearts of people with enthusiasm by reciting patriotic speeches and similarly at different places people together celebrate Independence Day with great enthusiasm.

The Viksit Bharat theme emphasizes the development and progress of India till the 100th anniversary of Swatantra Bharat which is to be completed in 2047. India’s aim is to provide development and progress to all the areas of India like sports, education, technology, agriculture, health care, and all other areas.

Today, when we hold the Indian flag, it is our responsibility to always keep its pride alive. Even today, the soldiers of the country are always ready to protect our country without worrying about their lives. So that our country can remain safe. It is our responsibility to swear to uphold the nation’s ideals and lead it to greater heights. Independence Day fills our country with unity, patriotism, and integrity. We all take a pledge that we will keep the country proud and will fulfill the dreams of our brave soldiers with our lives.

Independence Day Speech 2024 For Teachers, Today we all have gathered here to celebrate 15 August i.e. Independence Day. India gained independence in 1947 after many of our great warriors gave their lives and put in a great deal of effort to secure our nation’s freedom. Today we are proud that we are Indians and we salute and pay tribute to the immortal martyrs and brave soldiers of our country due to whom our country became independent. On today’s occasion, we should remember freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose, Rani Lakshmi Bai, and Bhagat Singh.
Being a teacher, it is our duty to tell children about our country’s history, our brave soldiers, their struggles, and the values of our country so that values like unity, integrity, and patriotism are inculcated in children. They should understand their responsibility towards their country and contribute to the country’s progress.
Our students are the bright future of our country and on this opportunity, we must awaken them to their responsibilities towards the nation and take a pledge that we will provide our students not only academic qualification but also social education so that our country reaches new heights in the coming years.

Independence Day Speech 2024 For Students, Today on Independence Day, I would like to wish all pupils, our respected teachers and school staff a Happy Independence Day. With great pride, I would like to say that on this day we got freedom from the colonial rule of the British that was in force for almost 200 years. Independence Day reminds us of our responsibility towards the country and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and how they sacrificed their lives so that the coming generations could be born in independent India. Their struggle and hard work remind us of our duties which we have to fulfill with full dedication and contribute towards the progress of the country.
Today, we should feel proud of our country and we should celebrate this day with the feeling of unity and patriotism. Today we decided that we will fulfill our responsibilities towards the country with full hard work and by taking the values of unity, patriotism, and sovereignty as our ideals, We’ll do everything in our capacity to raise national pride and help the nation reach new heights.
