People on social media say that with the two side doors and styling changes, it now looks like a premium off roader – Jeep Wrangler. Thar Roxx vs Jeep Wrangler Exterior Features 2024
Starting with the front, the Mahindra Thar Rocks gets LED headlights and C-shaped LED DRLs. The bumper has silver elements and the fog lights are also LED units. The grille has a 6-slat design that is divided via a horizontal slat in the middle. The indicators, which are now LED, are placed next to the headlights above the wheel wells. On the sides, it is now longer than the standard Thar and has a blacked-out roof. It gets 19-inch alloys and the rear door handles are placed on the C-pillar which is a triangular unit. At the rear, the Thar Rocks gets a rectangular LED tail light and tailgate-mounted spare wheel in a rectangular housing.
On the other hand, the Wrangler also gets circular LED headlights with LED DRLs. It gets a 6-slat grille that looks intimidating and gives a good road presence. Like the Thar Rocks, the indicators are placed next to the headlights above the wheel wells, but they are sleeker units and also act as DRLs. On the sides, the Wrangler also features two rear doors, a boxy silhouette and a blacked-out roof. While, the C-pillar does not have the triangular design. At the rear, it also features rectangular LED taillights with their own unique signature and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel.

For off-road features, the Mahindra Thar Rocks gets an electronically activated rear differential and brake-locking differential. It also gets three terrain modes: mud, sand and snow. The Jeep, on the other hand, gets front and rear locking differentials and a full-time four-wheel-drive setup. Both models also come with hill descent control.

The Mahindra Thar Rocks has a dual-tone black and beige cabin. It gets two 10.25-inch displays (one for the driver display and the other for the touchscreen). Apart from this, it gets auto AC with rear vents and wireless phone charger. There are two separate centre armrests for the front passengers. The seats are covered in white upholstery and while they look premium, keeping them clean can be a pain, especially during off-road sessions. The front seats get ventilation function, however, the driver’s seat is electronically adjustable. The rear seats also feature a centre armrest, three-point seatbelts and headrests for all passengers.
The Jeep Wrangler has a blacked-out cabin with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The dark theme of the Wrangler is easy to maintain when taking it off-road. The driver gets analogue dials for the speedometer and tachometer and between them is a 7-inch coloured multi-info display. There is a single centre armrest that comes with storage space. The seats are covered in black leather upholstery and the front seats have both heating and electronic adjustment. The rear seats have headrests and 3-point seatbelts for all passengers. A rear centre armrest with cupholders is also included.
